Richa Chadha is an Indian actress, producer, and political activist who works in Hindi cinema.

Chadha was born on 18 December 1986 in Amritsar, Punjab, India into a Sikh family to a Punjabi father and a Bihari mother.

She was educated at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya and then at the St. Stephen's College in New Delhi.
